2020 marked the third year of our ongoing identity design project with the Brooklyn Art Book Fair. Due to the pandemic, we weren't able to host it at its usual location. In an effort to ensure the independent publishing community still had a chance to come together and sell their books amidst the cancellation of other major fairs, we developed the first ever virtual edition of the Brooklyn Art Book Fair.
We translated the BKABF into a virtual space for four days. The project aimed to strike a balance between the sensation of walking through a book fair and finding something unexpected with a designed system that made it easy to get small presses sales during this time.
